Both methods yield different errors/issues and I'm really hoping that it's not because I am using non HP drives because their products are overpriced and do not match my eventual design plan.

No drives detected via load ISO from virtual drive (shown above) unpack it, and put uncompressed IMAGEDD on SD with using dd tool for linux, dd.exe or flashnul for windows.
