Physical Drives: KINGSTON SA400S3 120GB (Qty: 2), Samsung SSD 860 1TB (Qty: 2)Įach setup in a RAID 1 using the RAID configuration tool in Intelligent Provisioning (first attempts provisioned through UEFI BIOS and same result, tore down and reprovisioned in IProv)įirmware appears to be up to date as well.(shown above)Īs I mentioned, I've attempted to install via Assisted Install by provisioning through Intelligent Provisioning portal, and also by loading the ISO from virtual drive and booting from it. Using the HP custom ESXi 4.0 worked for us. I am not so sure that this is the case if you just install the latest ESXi 4.1 direct from VMware. Install ISO: VMware-ESXi-6.7.0-Update2-13006603-HPE-Gen9plus-670.U2.10.4.1.8-Apr2019 We made sure to install the HP custom version of ESXi 4.0 and the Health monitoring is just there on the Configuration tab. No drives detected via load ISO from virtual drive (shown above) unpack it, and put uncompressed IMAGEDD on SD with using dd tool for linux, dd.exe or flashnul for windows.

WARNING this will wipe anything on the SD card 9. Select your USB Flash Media (Disk0 by default) > Enter. I've spent too many hours attempting to set this install up and need some help. At the Welcome to the VMware ESXi 4.0.0 Installation Window > Press Enter to install.
